We are under construction but we are still open! Please note that the front door and ramp are out of use for the next few weeks as we make improvements to serve you better. Access to the VAC is available through the secondary entrance at the front of the building. During this time accessibility to the building is limited while we make improvements to the ramp. Should you have any questions or concerns about this project please contact Dionne Powlenzuk, Executive Director at director@vac.ca
Give Back This Giving Tuesday at the Visual Arts Centre!
This Giving Tuesday, on December 3rd, we’re inviting you to make a lasting impact on our local arts community. With a goal of raising $1,500, your generous donations will provide vital unrestricted funds that directly support our gallery’s programs, exhibitions, and community initiatives. These funds allow us to continue offering a platform for creative expression, engaging art experiences, and a space where art lovers of all ages can connect and grow.
Your gift, no matter the size, helps us maintain and expand the Visual Arts Centre's mission. Together, we can continue to enrich our community through art and ensure that our gallery remains a welcoming hub for all.
Will you help us reach our goal? Donate on December 3rd and make a difference this Giving Tuesday!
Supporting contemporary artistic innovation and education
As a cultural institution, we value diverse perspectives and experiences that add complexity and nuance to the questions and ideas we explore.
The VAC is committed to presenting challenging, dialogue-producing experiences whose purpose is to use art as a means of knowledge production and promotion to enact social change through meaningful discussions between the public, artists, and the institution.
We respect the diversity of ideas and support different perspectives through equity and inclusive practice.
